Context: Senior Prosecutor of the First Department for Supervision of the Investigation of Criminal Cases in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation of the Department for Supervision of the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation. Responsible for the criminal prosecution of citizens of the Russian Federation who oppose the current political regime in Russia. He acted as a public prosecutor at the trial in the case of the Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko.
